💥My strength💥

Image
My strength didn’t come from lifting weights, My strength came from lifting myself when I was knocked down. Strength isn’t about how much you can handle before you break, it's about how much you can handle after you break.  When anything in your life goes wrong you have three choices, you can let it define you, let it destroy you or let it strengthen you. Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength. Strength is inside you, You just need to explore how strong are you... You don't even know how strong you’re...  Know your strength,  It will increase your self-awareness will help you grasp traits you previously undervalued in yourself.   In the end, realize and embrace the fact that you are unique. 💖

It was an intresting journey

Image
It was an interesting journey.😀 The trip was attended by five friends. They are Visal, Dhanush, Ramesh, Nisal and me. We went there by train. We got the Ruhunukumari train from Matara and went to Colombo Fort. It is about 265 km from Matara to Mahawa town. We started our journey from Matara to Mahawa at 6:30 am. We reached the Mahawa area around 5 pm that day.😴That night we were at my friend's house.  The next day we got up and went to Nikaweratiya. We saw that various agricultural activities were going on in that village. Kurakkan, banana plantations and cashew plantations caught our eyes. There we saw a small hut. We climbed on it and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings.😎😂 In the night we saw a herd of elephants entering the forest, Then we got scared and immediately came to the friend's house..🤣That night we sang songs and had fun. The next day we went to a big lake in the village. It was a beautiful environment.😋 I was able to experience the beauty of nature. Lack ...

Education System

Image
All countries are interested in an education system. Special attention has been paid to the Finnish education system in each country according to the existing education system. This is a school system that for years has been among the world's best. Only nine years of compulsory schooling is essential for Finnish children to attend. In Finland, it's the individual teachers who decide how the curriculum is taught, including how much technology should feature in their classrooms. In Finland, school lunches, like books and excursions are free. The kids select what they want, sit down with their friends and teachers to eat before, clean up after themselves. The children rug up again to play outside. Some play a raucous version of soccer, some play basketball while others wait for the hockey rink to open. There are plenty of options for bad weather days too. The facilities in this school are just amazing. There are sliding facilities on the ice. There is a ping pong table and a poo...

Beyond the Love

Image
A few years later, though, I felt the cold of Christmas and decided to write this short note around 1.06 a.m. Love, affection and compassion are synonymous with the same meaning in Sinhala, but the context is a unique set of meanings. Before explaining the individual meanings, I would like to recall reading about the love of the Greek philosopher Plato. According to him, love represents four stages. 1. Negative love 2. Devotional love 3. Patriotism 4. Platonic love  Plato rejected all three of the other representations of the above and recommends Platonic love as the fourth. I will now try to briefly explain the vocabulary in the Sinhala language that I mentioned earlier. We recognize the difference between love and affection that we use so often. For example, love for a pet or something we keep at home is used to describe the interaction between people (there is no gender difference here). We often use words like 'compassion' to reflect the feelings of the mother and f...

Run Lola Run

Image
The movie "Run Lola Run" can be introduced as a high-quality product that cannot be ignored. The film was critically acclaimed at the 1998 Toronto Film Festival and 1999. Sundance Film Festival. I would like to point out at this point that you should have watched this movie before doing anything. This allows the viewer to choose anything at the beginning of the viewing and needs to watch it until the end to understand what the end result is.  Directed by Tom Tykwer, this German film is a meditation on fate and destiny. Lola  (90s real screen actress Franco Potent) in her 90s can break glass due to the intensity of her voice. She  is a sportsperson in her personal life. That's probably why she used to run in so many scenes in the movie "Run Lola Run" Her boyfriend (Moritz Blewtriou)has disappeared from the gang with 100,000 rupees to pay. As one scene shows us, Mani tells his girlfriend Lola what happened and asks her for money. He says he has 20 minutes to retur...

My Favorite Sitharist

Image
One of my favourite musical instruments to play is the sitar. It is one of the most difficult musical instruments to learn and play. It took me a considerable amount of time to learn it too. I like the sweet sound that comes out when playing the sitar. I often listen to the sitar of different sitar players. Among them, my favourite sitar player is Anouska Shankar. She began studying sitar, Indian classical music at the age of 09 under  the tutelage of her father, Pandith Ravishankar. She has come a long way since then. She is a veteran sitar player and also a filmmaker. She is also the youngest and first female recipient of the British Common Helth Shield. She was also the first Indian musician to be nominated for a live performance at the Grammy Awards and the first Indian woman to be nominated.  She also regularly works with organisations such as UNHCR and Help Refugees to raise funds and raise awareness for the refugee crisis. Some of her music albums include Travel, Traces...
